Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is a colorful Metroidvania action-platformer and brawler set in a world drawn from Mexican folklore and the Day of the Dead. You play Juan, an agave farmer who is killed, gains a magic luchador mask, and sets out through the worlds of the living and the dead to rescue his kidnapped love interest and stop a villain's ritual. Gameplay mixes tight platforming, puzzle-solving, and wrestling-move combat against skeletons and other undead foes, with local and online drop-in co-op for up to four players. Combat is cartoonish and bloodless, the tone is silly and light, and there is no profanity, sexual content, or purchasable items.
