What's in it

Spending real-money purchases
High

A free-to-play game with real-money purchases for premium currency, cosmetic parts, and account boosts; earlier versions also sold randomized reward crates that were later removed.

Language moderate
Moderate

The game contains no spoken dialogue and no written profanity of its own - all combat is between machines. Language a child would see comes from other players typing in the open chat during battles and in lobbies, which is only lightly moderated, so swearing from strangers can appear there.

Violence cartoon/stylized
Low

Bloodless mechanical combat: player-built robot vehicles shoot and blast each other apart into blocks with futuristic weapons; no humans, blood, or gore.

Spending pressure optional
Low

Purchases are optional and speed up unlocking parts rather than gating core play.

What it is

Robocraft is a free-to-play online game where you build block-based robot vehicles that drive, hover, walk, or fly, then take them into team-based online battles against other players. Combat is entirely machine-versus-machine: robots trade fire with futuristic weapons and break apart into their component cubes when destroyed, with no humans, blood, or gore involved. The main draw is the creative building and engineering of vehicles, which players can share with the community. It is played online with strangers and includes text and voice chat, and it monetizes through real-money purchases of an in-game currency used to buy parts and garage space.

How it's framed

The game frames its content as light, constructive sci-fi competition centered on creativity and engineering; destruction is presented as bloodless mechanical demolition of vehicles rather than harm to living beings, and there is no story or thematic weight attached to the fighting.
