What it is
Awesomenauts is a 2D online multiplayer battle arena (MOBA) with a Saturday-morning-cartoon sci-fi look. Two teams of three players pick colorful hero characters and platform-jump across side-scrolling maps, using guns and special abilities to defeat enemy players, automated drones, and turrets on the way to destroying the opposing base. Combat is fast and stylized with no blood, gore, or realistic injury. There is no sexual content, strong language, or substance use of note. The core experience is competitive online play against and alongside strangers, and matches support voice and text chat.

The game frames its fighting as lighthearted, exaggerated cartoon action set in a comedic outer-space bounty-hunter universe; violence is a game mechanic rewarded with in-match currency and never depicted with realistic consequences or serious tone.
