Back to Bed is a single-player surreal puzzle game in which you guide a sleepwalker named Bob safely back to his bed across isometric, dreamlike levels. Playing as Bob's guardian, you rearrange blocks, ramps, and platforms to steer him away from ledges and hazards that would wake him. The art is inspired by Dali and Escher, so the worlds are strange and painterly rather than scary. There is no combat, blood, foul language, romance, substances, or purchases, and the game is played entirely offline with no chat or interaction with other players. An unlockable 'Nightmare' mode simply revisits the same levels with tougher puzzle twists.
The game frames its content purely as gentle, low-stakes puzzle-solving; the only failure is Bob 'waking up,' after which a level restarts, and there is no violence, peril, or mature subject matter attached to any outcome.
