What it is
Planet Coaster is a theme-park construction and management simulator where you design roller coasters, place flat rides and shops, decorate paths and scenery, and manage guests, staff, and park finances. Gameplay is entirely about building and running an amusement park; there is no combat, and the only 'harm' to people is guests reacting to intense rides. Content is family-oriented, with the only edge being optional cartoonish spooky theming (haunted-house props, skeletons, graveyard decorations) players can add to their parks. Players can share and download custom blueprints through Steam Workshop.
How it's framed
The game frames everything around creativity, park management, and guest satisfaction. Any 'scary' content is purely cosmetic theme-park theming presented in a lighthearted, cartoonish way, with no real-world violence, crime, or mature subject matter attached to it.
