The story follows a Sith apprentice hunting and killing Jedi survivors of the Purge; named characters die on screen, one is blinded, and betrayal and death drive the plot.
The player fights continuously with a lightsaber, blaster-armed enemies, and Force powers that throw, choke and electrocute humanoid foes; combat is stylized with no blood or visible wounds.
The player fights large beasts including rancors as ordinary boss and enemy combat.
A romance develops between the protagonist Starkiller and pilot Juno Eclipse, conveyed through dialogue and attraction only; nothing sexual is shown.
This is a single-player, third-person Star Wars action game in which you play Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, hunting down surviving Jedi across a series of levels before the story turns toward rebellion and redemption. Combat is the core of play: you cut through stormtroopers, Jedi and large creatures with a lightsaber and use Force powers — telekinetic grabs and throws, Force lightning, and shockwaves — with heavy destruction effects but no blood, wounds or gore. The Ultimate Sith Edition adds extra missions, including one with an alternate dark-side ending. A quiet romance runs between Starkiller and the pilot Juno Eclipse. There are no online features, purchases, or chat.
The game frames Starkiller's violence first as obedience to a cruel master and then as a path toward turning against the Empire, treating his betrayal by Vader and his eventual sacrifice as the emotional weight of the story; the added Sith content instead lets the player carry the dark side through to its end without softening it.
