Unrailed! is a cooperative construction game in which up to four players race to build railway track ahead of a train that never stops, moving across blocky, procedurally generated worlds. Play centres on chopping trees for wood and mining stone for iron, crafting rails, and laying them fast enough to keep the train from running off the end of the line while managing tools, water, and a growing sense of chaos as the pace climbs. Cows and llamas wander onto the tracks as obstacles, and the train is upgraded with new tools and carts bought using bolts earned during a run. The visual style is bright and cartoonish, and there is no combat, blood, sexual content, strong language, or substance use; the tension comes entirely from teamwork and time pressure.
The game frames everything around coordination and split-second cooperation rather than conflict or peril to characters. Setbacks are mechanical — a misplaced rail, a train derailing, running out of resources — and the animal obstacles are treated as comic hazards to route around, not targets. There is no reward for harm and no mature subject matter in the presentation.
