Wolfenstein: The New Order is a single-player first-person shooter set in an alternate 1960s where Nazi Germany won World War II. Playing as resistance fighter B.J. Blazkowicz, you move through story-driven levels using guns, explosives, stealth takedowns, and a cover system to fight human soldiers and mechanical war machines. The combat is graphic and bloody, with dismemberment and gory kills, and the story leans into heavy subject matter: a prison/labor camp, mass killings, and a scientist who performs brutal experiments and a graphic on-screen dissection of a captured ally. It also includes strong profanity, smoking and drinking, and one intimate sex scene with brief partial nudity.
