What it is

Brick Rigs is a construction-based physics sandbox where the player snaps together interlocking bricks to form vehicles and machinery, then takes them out to steer, pilot through the air, and smash. Every joint is modeled in detail, so parts come loose realistically once enough force is applied. Most of the playtime revolves around a loop of assembling something and then wrecking it, producing impacts, blasts, and dramatic pile-ups. Behind the wheel sits a tiny brick character whose body goes limp on impact and may be thrown clear of its seat. Functional armaments can be attached, letting people pit their machines against one another in combat. The title supports single-player as well as online servers, where builds are uploaded and pulled down by others and where unmoderated typing and microphone chat with unknown people occurs. Nothing depicts bleeding, gore, sexual material, drugs or alcohol, or wagering; the sole destruction on display is plastic-brick machines and characters coming apart.

How it's framed

Wreckage is styled as goofy, physics-driven comedy: the draw lies in seeing intricate constructions come undone through wild, over-the-top collisions instead of any lifelike portrayal of injury. No narrative or ethical viewpoint accompanies the play; fighting and demolition function as open-ended sandbox activity dressed in a plastic-building-block look.
