Farming Simulator 19 is a detailed agriculture simulation in which the player runs a working farm: driving licensed tractors and harvesters, plowing and sowing fields, growing and selling crops, tending forestry, and raising livestock such as cows, pigs, sheep, chickens and horses. There is no combat, and the animals are bred, fed and sold rather than fought or hunted. The game contains no profanity, sexual content, substances or frightening material. It supports online multiplayer sessions with other players and an extensive community modding scene that adds player-made vehicles, maps and equipment.
The game frames its subject matter entirely around the routine of running a farm business — buying land and machinery, timing planting and harvest, managing income and caring for livestock. Success is measured in efficiency and profit, and the tone throughout is calm and procedural, with no conflict, jeopardy or mature themes attached to any of its activities.
