Broforce is a fast, chaotic side-scrolling run-and-gun action game where you play as parody versions of famous 80s and 90s action-movie heroes, blasting terrorist enemies through fully destructible levels and rescuing captured teammates. Combat is frequent and gory in a pixel-art style: enemies explode into red chunks and blood as the whole environment blows apart around you, and later stages descend into a comic version of hell to battle demons and the devil. A steroids gag ('Vitaminz') and cartoon satanic imagery appear as jokes rather than serious content. It supports local and online co-op plus a level editor with community-shared levels.
