What it is

Everybody's Golf (known as Hot Shots Golf in North America) is a cartoony, arcade-style golf game for the original PlayStation. Players use a simple swing meter to putt and drive across a handful of courses, competing in tournaments and one-on-one VS matches to unlock additional golfers and courses. The characters are stylized and big-headed, and the tone is light and lighthearted throughout. There is no violence, no objectionable language, and no mature content of any kind — it is a straightforward sports game built around accessible golf mechanics.

How it's framed

The game frames itself purely as an upbeat, competitive sports title. Progress comes from mastering courses and beating rival golfers to unlock content; there are no mature themes, no in-game purchases, and nothing beyond friendly golf competition.
