What it is

In this tactical role-playing title, the player takes the role of an instructor at a military school set on an invented landmass split between three nations. Days alternate between campus routines — giving lessons, talking with pupils, sharing meals, casting a fishing line, and tending a garden — and combat waged on a tiled map using blades, spears, ranged archery, and spellcasting. Deepening relationships with the cast opens the door to romance and wedlock. Partway through, the narrative shifts into full-scale conflict, addressing themes of treachery, loss, and mourning, and introduces enemies in the form of monstrous beasts. The presentation carries a fantasy tone with faint blood, mild coarse language, occasional flirtatious exchanges, and drinking woven into the world.

How it's framed

Battle is depicted through the lens of a teacher guiding pupils into a war framed as righteous yet carrying a heavy price, and the story's forking routes ask the player to measure allegiance, obligation, and the human cost of choosing a faction. Bloodshed comes across as sorrowful rather than celebrated, while grimmer elements such as the beast experiments are portrayed as acts of villainy.
