Gran Turismo Sport is a realistic car-racing simulator centered on competitive online driving, with hundreds of licensed real-world cars raced on real and fictional tracks. Play is built around clean, skill-based racing: a rating system rewards precise driving and penalizes contact and rule-breaking. There is no violence, no objectionable language, and no mature themes — the entire experience is driving cars around circuits. Players compete against strangers online in ranked races, and the game includes community features for sharing custom car paint jobs (liveries), decals, and in-game photographs. The core online services were shut down in early 2024.
The game frames itself around sportsmanship and fair competition, explicitly scoring players on courteous, rule-abiding driving; content is limited to motorsport with no violent, sexual, or otherwise mature material.
