Stylized steampunk airship combat: crews fire cannons and turret guns to destroy enemy flying ships, with fire, explosions, and downed crew but no blood or gore.
Guns of Icarus Online is a steampunk-themed team multiplayer game built around airship combat. Small crews of up to four players each take a role — pilot, gunner, or engineer — aboard a flying ship, coordinating to steer, fire cannons and turrets, and repair damage while battling other airships in PvP matches or cooperative missions. The combat is ship-versus-ship vehicle warfare rather than close-up human violence, and there is essentially no blood, gore, sexual content, or foul language scripted into the game itself. Because success depends heavily on crew coordination, the game includes in-game text and voice chat with other players, so the main variable content parents encounter is live communication with strangers.
The game frames its content as cooperative, competitive team sport in the sky — the emphasis is on communication, role coordination, and outmaneuvering rival crews for victory. Violence is directed at machines and vessels rather than depicted as personal bloodshed, and there is no narrative built around crime, cruelty, or mature subject matter.
