What it is
Romero's Aftermath is a free-to-play open-world zombie survival game where players scavenge ruined towns for food, water, weapons, and crafting materials, build bases, and try to stay alive in a large multiplayer world. Combat involves shooting and fighting undead as well as other real players, with realistic gunplay and blood but no graphic gore. The main tension comes from other survivors, who can hunt, kill, and loot you at any time. Because it runs on shared servers with open text and voice chat, most of the exposure comes from interacting with strangers rather than from the game's own content.
