What it is

Secret in Story is a short, single-player indie puzzle game that tells a wordless love story through hand-drawn, manga-style black-and-white images set to piano music. There is no spoken or written dialogue; instead you advance the tale by clicking the correct spot on each image within a time limit, relying on observation and memory, and clicking wrong or too slowly makes you restart. A full run lasts only a few minutes, though chasing its achievements can take longer. There is no violence, sexual content, foul language, substances, or purchases of any kind — the only mature note is the gentle, melancholic subject of a remembered romance and moving on.
