Violence cartoon/stylized

What it is

Source Filmmaker is a free 3D animation and moviemaking tool made by Valve on the Source game engine. It is not a game but a piece of software for posing characters, animating shots, and rendering short films and still images using assets pulled from Source games, most prominently Team Fortress 2. Those bundled assets include cartoon combat characters and weapons, so a scene can depict stylised fighting with flat comic blood, but the program has no gameplay, goals, or violence of its own. Everything in a given project is whatever the person operating the tool chooses to build, and the community shares custom models and project files through the Steam Workshop.

How it's framed

The software takes no stance on subject matter; it is a neutral animation toolkit whose tone, content, and intensity come entirely from whoever is using it rather than from anything the program presents on its own.
