Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay is a short, free virtual-reality experience set in the Star Wars universe, built as a tech demo by Lucasfilm's ILMxLAB. Playing as a Resistance technician, you use your hands (via VR controllers) to fix BB-8 and other astromech droids at a workbench, swapping parts and using tools while the droids react with distinct personalities. It is a calm, guided, on-rails activity with no combat, no enemies to fight, no scary content, and no bad language. The First Order is mentioned as the offscreen threat the droids are being repaired to help fight, but no violence is shown. There is no online play, no chat with others, and no purchases of any kind.
The game frames the player as a helpful mechanic supporting the Resistance; the tone is friendly, lighthearted, and cooperative, centered on caring for cute droid characters rather than on conflict or peril.
