Cartoon platforming action: Mario stomps or fireballs stylized enemies who vanish in a puff, and fights an oversized Bowser in kaiju-style showdowns; no blood or injury depicted.
This is a bright, family-oriented Nintendo platformer combining Super Mario 3D World with the open-ended Bowser's Fury adventure. Players control Mario (and friends) jumping and running across colorful, cat-themed 3D levels, collecting items and power-up suits, and clearing obstacle-course challenges. Conflict is limited to cartoon platforming action: bopping goofy enemies who simply disappear and battling a giant, sludge-covered Bowser in Godzilla-like showdowns. There is no blood, no bad language, no sexual content, and nothing to purchase inside the game. The 3D World portion supports cooperative play both locally and online, but the game includes no in-game text or voice chat.
The game frames its action as lighthearted, heroic adventure: Mario helps Bowser Jr. rescue a whimsical island world from a mysterious black sludge, and enemy encounters are stylized, consequence-free cartoon obstacles rather than realistic harm.
