Poker and similar casino card games are among the built-in games, wagered with virtual chips that cannot be cashed out.
Tabletop Simulator is a physics sandbox for playing board games, card games, and tabletop role-playing games with up to ten people online. It ships with a handful of classic games such as chess, checkers, and poker, but its main draw is the ability to import images and 3D models and to load thousands of community-made mods from the Steam Workshop, letting players recreate almost any board game. The base game contains no violence, sexual content, or profanity of its own; what appears on the table is whatever the players spawn, and the physics-driven pieces can be freely picked up, flipped, or scattered. Because players can draw on shared surfaces, chat by voice and text, and load any user-created content, what is encountered depends heavily on the specific mod loaded and the people in the lobby.
The game is a neutral, objective-free sandbox with no win or loss conditions and no story of its own; it supplies the table, the physics, and the tools, while all subject matter comes from the games players choose to load or build. Any mature content is introduced through user-created Workshop mods or imported assets rather than authored by the game.
