The two explorers are lost and split apart inside an abandoned castle in a frozen wasteland, with the looming possibility that one may fail to escape.
A cold, abandoned castle with dim interiors and a foreboding, unsettling atmosphere, but no pursuit, jump scares or forced helplessness.
A free two-player cooperative first-person puzzle adventure in which two Antarctic explorers become separated inside an abandoned castle. Each player is stuck in different rooms, unable to see the other, and the pair coordinate entirely through an in-game walkie-talkie to describe symbols, solve environmental puzzles and find a way out. There is no combat and no bloody injury; the only 'blood' is a stylized red typeface used for some in-game writing. The tone is cold and foreboding, built on isolation, a race against time, and a backstory of a previous inhabitant's unraveling, with an ending in which one player's choice can leave the other stranded.
The game frames everything around communication and trust between two people rather than conflict; its tension comes from being lost, separated and pressed for time, and from a finale where one player can escape at the other's expense.
