What it is

Wreckfest is a demolition-derby racing game built around detailed crash physics, where cars bend, crumple, and fall apart in realistic soft-body destruction. You compete in both traditional track races and derby events whose goal is to smash rival cars as hard as possible, and you can upgrade and customize vehicles between events. The only violence is vehicle-on-vehicle: cars are wrecked, but no people are depicted being injured, and there is no blood, gore, sexual content, substances, or profanity in the game itself. It can be played solo against AI or online with others, and multiplayer includes voice and text chat with strangers, so language and behavior in those channels come from other players rather than the game.

How it's framed

The game presents its crashes as lighthearted, over-the-top fun rather than harm to people; wrecking opponents is framed as a sport and rewarded with points and progression, with no real-world stakes or human consequences shown.
