Wine is the central subject: the player grows grapes, produces vintages, and prices and sells bottles of alcohol to buyers, so alcohol is produced and traded as the core gameplay loop.
Grand Cru: The Wine Maker is a data-driven business simulation in which you run a Bordeaux winery: choosing grapes and soils, managing weather and harvest timing, blending vintages, and negotiating prices with roughly 25 different buyers to climb the regional rankings. The only mature-facing element is its subject matter — the entire game is built around making and selling wine, an alcoholic product, which the player produces, prices, and trades throughout. There is no violence, sexual content, foul language, or intoxication shown; the wine is treated as an agricultural business commodity. It is single-player with no online chat or in-app purchases.
The game frames wine strictly as a craft and a commercial product, emphasizing terroir, quality scoring, and negotiation rather than drinking or its effects; alcohol appears only as the good being manufactured and sold in a management context.
