Football Manager 2023 is a deep soccer management simulation where you run a real-world football club: picking the starting eleven, buying and selling players in the transfer market, setting tactics and training, managing finances, and guiding your team through league and cup competitions season after season. All the action plays out through menus, data tables, and a simulated 2D/3D match engine rather than direct player control. There is no violence, sexual content, profanity, substances, or gambling in the game; the on-pitch matches are ordinary sporting play. It supports online multiplayer where several people can manage clubs in a shared save, but the base game has no built-in voice or text chat and no in-app purchases.
